Creating a Code
There are two ways to create a Code:
- Register for an account and the onboarding flow will help you through the process, or
- Create a new Code from the account dashboard (this is dependent on a Billing Plan which allows multiple Codes)
Registering for a New Account
When you register for a new Easy Menus account, the very first step in getting started is to upload your menu PDF (file size limit of 20MB). You then provide your business details and... magic! Your account is set up and your new Code is ready to go, pointing to your menu PDF.
You will be logged in to the dashboard and will have an opportunity to then view the details of your new Code.
Note
New Easy Menus accounts do not require a credit card to get started. However, your account will be in demo mode and you will be limited to 20 QR Code scans before a "trial expired" message will be shown. This is your cue to upgrade your account to a paid plan.
Creating a Code in the Dashboard
You can create a new Code from the account dashboard by opening the navigation menu and choosing Add Code. This will prompt you to upload a PDF document and ask for the Menu Name. Once submitted, your new Code will be available from the dashboard.
Note
Creating new Codes is a feature that may require a Pro plan or higher.
