Updating A Code
Just Compose an Email
As your QR code is permanent, you have the ability to update the PDF document that the Code points to. This update process happens via email - you simply attach a new PDF document to a new email which is addressed to the Code's Update Address.

Beware of Google Drive Attachment Options
If you are attaching PDF files that live in Google Drive, be sure to choose the "Insert as: Attachment" option instead of "Insert as: Drive Link". If your PDF is attached as a Drive Link, the update system will not see it.
Beware of Outlook OneDrive Attachment Options
If you are attaching PDF files that live in Outlook OneDrive, be sure to choose the "Attach" option instead of "Share Link". If your PDF is attached as a OneDrive Link, the update system will not see it.
The Update Address
The Update Address is unique for each Code and will not change. You can find the Update Address for your Code in the dashboard on the Code details page.

You can select the 'Copy Update Email' button to copy this address to your clipboard, which you can then paste into a new email message. An email subject and body content are not required.
The Updated PDF
When you update your PDF, we are hosting your file for you, so there is no need for additional cloud storage or services. The Easy Menus system limits PDF file sizes to less than 20MB. We strongly suggest that you optimize your PDFs and export them for web prior to sending them for an update. Please note that when your new PDF replaces an older version, the older version is not kept. This means that you cannot roll back any updates. In order to revert an update, simply update your Code again using the old PDF file.
