Cancelling

You can cancel any time. No phone call, no "are you sure" maze.

How

  1. In the dashboard, click Billing in the side nav.
  2. Hit Manage billing to open the Stripe portal.
  3. Find your subscription and hit Cancel plan.
  4. Confirm.

That's it. You'll get a confirmation email from Stripe.

What "cancelled" means

Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period — the date you'd otherwise be charged next. So if you cancel on the 5th and your renewal date is the 28th, you keep all paid features through the 28th, then your account moves back to trial state.

We don't pro-rate refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, you've already paid for the full month, so you might as well use it.

What happens to your codes when the plan ends

When your plan reverts to trial:

  • The QR codes themselves keep existing — they're not deleted
  • Customer scans hit a "trial expired" page after the trial scan-cap is reached
  • You can still sign in and look around
  • You can re-subscribe any time and everything comes back to life without re-uploading anything

The codes stay attached to your account indefinitely. We don't auto- delete inactive accounts.

I cancelled by mistake / I want to come back

Sign in, go to Billing, pick a plan, pay. Your code and PDF are exactly where you left them. The QR code itself never changed — anything you previously printed still works.

Closing the account entirely

Cancelling stops the billing. If you want to close the account entirely (purge your data, free the email for re-signup, etc.), that's a separate request — see Closing your account.
