I didn't get a sign-in code

You typed your email on the sign-in page and… nothing arrived. Try these in order.

1. Give it a minute

Most sign-in codes arrive within a few seconds, but occasionally email gets queued. Wait 60 seconds before assuming it's missing.

2. Check your spam folder

The sign-in code email comes from noreply@easymenus.io with subject "Your sign-in code". Some mail filters are aggressive about 8-digit-code emails. If you find it in spam, mark it as "not spam" so future codes go to your inbox.

3. Did you type your email right?

Re-check the address on the sign-in page. A single character off (gmial.com vs gmail.com) means we're sending to a different inbox.

The sign-in page is also case-insensitive on the email, so Me@Example.com and me@example.com are the same account.

4. Hit "Resend code"

There's a Resend link on the verification page. Click it — a fresh code goes out. The previous code is invalidated.

5. Try a different email service for testing

If you have, say, a Gmail and a Yahoo address, try signing up with the other one to see if it's a specific-provider deliverability issue. If codes arrive at one but not the other, your normal provider's filters are eating the message — adjust those, or contact us and we'll look at it.

6. Hourly limit

To stop bots and accidental loops, we limit how many sign-in codes you can request per hour per email. If you've been hammering the button, you might be temporarily blocked. Wait an hour and try again, or contact us if you're locked out and need in faster.

Sign-in codes expire

Each code is good for one hour and one use. If you got a code, walked away, came back two hours later, and typed it — that's why it failed. Just request a fresh one.

What about my account email?

The sign-in code goes to the email address you signed up with. If you've changed your email at your email provider but never updated it on the Easy Menus side, the code is going to the old inbox. Contact us — we can switch the account email manually.
